Connect the records
The commercial invoice, packing list and supporting material records should refer to the same accepted project. Separate commercial identifiers from batch references while preserving their relationship.
Resolve differences before dispatch
Different abbreviations, units or consignee details can cause avoidable review questions. Document consistency is a practical quality check, not a guarantee of customs acceptance.
Confirm the responsible party
The importer and relevant advisers should determine applicable destination requirements. The supplier’s document support does not automatically transfer or eliminate those responsibilities.
