Preserve the unit
A value expressed in mg is not a liquid fill volume. A value in mL does not establish the amount of a dissolved material. A package count identifies containers and should remain separate from the per-container specification.
Resolve inconsistent source lists
Different supplier records sometimes use different conventions for the same named material. Record the original convention, identify the discrepancy and ask for confirmation. Do not silently correct an uncertain source row.
Use images carefully
An image can communicate packaging identity and general presentation. It cannot establish concentration, fill tolerance or exact powder volume. The released specification remains the relevant record.
