Recognize ambiguity
A familiar trade name may refer to a particular ingredient program, a blend or an informal source designation. Similar spelling does not establish identical composition.
Check naming rights and documentation
For a private-label project, review both the material documentation and the rights to use any commercial designation. A catalog entry does not grant a trademark license.
Ask for clarification
If the source list does not identify the exact form or composition, record that limitation and request the applicable documents. Do not invent a sequence, formula or molecular weight to complete a table.
